"Lady in Black" is designed over a small brimmed hat that's
turned up in back. The front is adorned with black satin and
organza millinery roses. The hat band is black satin ribbon and
the back of the hat is a beautiful satin edged tulle two tiered
veil that can be easily worn over the face for mourning.
Please Note: Because Black is difficult to photograph, I"ve
lightened several of the photos; therefore the texture of the
lace and the tiers are more visible.
This Victorian or Edwardian Style Parasol is graced with tiers
of beautiful gossamer black Lace that's accented with a rose
design; it's 20 inches in diameter. I named it "My Heartache"
because during Victorian and Edwardian times a lady usually
carried a black parasol when she was mourning the loss of a
loved one. It's accented with Black Satin ribbons The base of
the parasol is black nylon. It has a wooden handle. All of the
trims are sewn on by hand. Very feminine and exquisite and my
photos don't do it justice! Excellent choice for the Civil War
reenactor or a perfect addition to your Somewhere in Time hat
for that special Somewhere in Time Weekend event held in October
at Mackinac Island.

is available in 9 colors of lace. The fans are accented on the

This is a "One of a Kind" French Fashion Parisian Couture Style
bonnet; a millinery delight reminiscent of "La Belle Epoque" era
designed by Darna. I named the bonnet Mademoiselle Shantay and
the meaning of the French word "Shantay" is "enchanted" and
you'll feel enchanting when you're wearing this bonnet.
Mademoiselle Shantay is designed after a 1830-1890's style
bonnet. It's inspired by the style of bonnets on the French BeBe
doll. This bonnet fits and looks fabulous on both a woman or
girl. This hat is white satin and it's accented with 3 different
lace trims: turquoise, peachy pink and peachy cream. It's also
accented with Parisian style lace appliques loaded with pearls
and iridescent cupped sequins. It's loaded with elegant ostrich
feathers in cream and turquoise and it's also adorned with 3
creamy peach rannuclus flowers. The brim on this hat measures a
fantastic 20 inches in diameter.
Silver Hallelujah is a gorgeous black wool base adorned with
